If "Click, Pop" is what you experience when you chew or open your mouth with our without pain, you may have TMJ Disorder or TMD.  This is a condition that can stem from a traumatic incidence like a blow to the jaw, or one that has developed over time from no apparent reason.  You may have just visited your dentist and noticed it afterward. You may have had a whiplash situation (minor car accident, rollercoaster whip, woke up with crick in neck).
It may come and go, or be constant.  You may experience one or a combination of some or all of these seemingly unrelated symptoms:
Vertigo/dizziness, ringing in your ear, headache, pain behind your eye, neck stiffness/pain, throat soreness, ear pain when swallowing, tailbone pain, jaw deviation when opening or closing, teeth don't seem to touch right, hair/scalp tender to touch, clogged or "itchy" ears, tired facial muscles, larynigitis or throat issues without infection, voice changes.
Clicking and popping sound isn't necessary for a diagnosis of TMD.  You could experience a combination of these other symptoms without any sound from the joint.

The solution is simple:  Get an accurate diagnosis and follow up with the non-invasive, non-surgical, no drug therapy:  The TMJ Therapy

Trigeminal Neuralgia

Tic Douloureux or Trigeminal Neuralgia
Intense, sharp, stabbing electric like pain in the face, eye, ear, tooth.  Not associated with infection.
Pain can be experienced with moving of head, jaw, brushing teeth, talking, squinting, eating.

Wikipedia states:
Trigeminal neuralgia (TN, or TGN), also known as prosopalgia,[1] suicide disease,[2] or Fothergill's disease[3] is a neuropathic disorder characterized by episodes of intense pain in the face, originating from the trigeminal nerve. The clinical association between TN and hemifacial spasm is the so-called tic douloureux.[4] It has been described as among the most painful conditions known to mankind.[5] It is estimated that 1 in 15,000 or 20,000 people suffer from TN, although the actual figure may be significantly higher due to frequent misdiagnosis. In a majority of cases, TN symptoms begin appearing more frequently over the age of 50, although there have been cases with patients being as young as three years of age. It is more common in females than males.

Current patient experienced symptoms for 2 weeks before coming to The TMJ Therapy, afterall it's not a TemporalMandibularJoint issue....or is it?  After the first treatment some relief was experienced.  After 2 weeks into the 4 week protocol/treatment plan, patient reported no symptoms for 5-6 days!
I witness and get to take part in miracles everyday!

UPDATE:  patient reports 95% better in less than 1 month!
